I you do not want to splice your factory harness buy this.

I wanted to add a subwoofer to my X3 but wanted to keep my factory head unit. This was the perfect solution. Soldered a pair of RCA cables to the front left and right wires and installed between the head unit and factory harness. Then ran the cables to my amplifier that accepts speaker and line level inputs. I can remove anytime and will not have to worry about putting the system back to stock. Well worth every penny.
