A Chinese knock off of the 1970's original Danny O' Day Dummy
Unfortunately this product is a Chinese knock off of the original 1970's Danny O' Day Dummy and as a result has some flaws. The legs were made too long, about 3 inches, (about 7 cm), so I'll have to hire a seamstress to shorten them and shorten the pants also. Secondly, the mouth doesn't open very far and get's stuck whereas the original from 1973 didn't. Thirdly, the face is the same but not as narrow as the original one, making the new dummy look older and less like a younger boy. Otherwise, it's a nice replica of the original one. The current ones are made in Chinese and I'm fairly sure the original one was made in the U.S.
