Its actually pretty sophisticated.

Omce you read the owners manual, you learn a ton of different light flash patterns (yellow then red; solid blue, etc.) Each light pattern tells you a specific function thats going on, such as battery level, bad/good connection, etc.

Works perfect & any average joe can install it with youtube.

Youtube videos show you how to just drop the vlove box out and it installs in easily. Do not go to a mechanic / dealer for this. All in all, I bought this on here for fifty bucks and installed it in less than 2 hours. It is NOT louder than the factory blower.
