Coffeeduck capsules
Similarly to the comments of many users, it seems difficult to find what is the right grind of coffee and which exact amount is needed to fill the capsules with. These precautionary notes are in the hand-out that accompanies the product, but not in the description of the product on the Web. I have tried to fill the Coffeeduck capsules with Italian espresso coffee as sold in under-vacuum square packs (as Lavazza, for instance). The coffee brews alright, but the foam (crema) does not compare to what I routinely obtain with ready-made commercial capsules. Apparently, manufactors who sell ready-made one-time disposable capsules did a lot of research to find the right grind and amount of coffee the one-time commercial capsules are filled with.
