F-4 Phantom Phile
This book is really a history and description of the F-4 more than a "service manual" for maintaining the Phantom. The book includes a lot about British service models and mentions in passing the versions used by others including Germany and Japan. Some detail about the British incorporation of the Spey engine vs. the G.E. J-79 is also included. The weapons section is reasonably inclusive and is separated by production model (F-4B thru F-4G for example). Some knowledge of the production, maintenance and/or operation of the Phantom is needed to appreciate the book as the author seems to expect familiarity with a lot of the aircraft's details.
This is an entertaining read and I'd recommend it to any confirmed Phantom Phan.
