Astonishing Deal!!!
Now this spear is very nice, heavy forward thrust feels very controlled with how the paracord grip feels. Although I own several different brands and make of spears and compared to the united cutlery m48 talon; I wouldn't own 5 spears i had bought this first. The pricing on this schrade arrowhead design is amazing, but the plastic feels more like gym equipment than a weapon/functional tool, the united cutlery talon has a farrrr superior weight, grip, and overall feel when held. The blade comes without edge which isn't an issue and it does fly well right out of the box. Albeit the front heavyness to it makes it feel more proper for thrusting and when thrown it drops fast unless you give a good arc on it, the talon in comparison basically lifts out of your hand and flies straighter in my experience. The schrade spears have a storage compartment in the rear and optional attachments that add about a foot to the length, very nice option but they are overpriced in my opinion. Overall this is a great addition to any collection but if your looking for a real tool, go with the united cutlery m48 talon or even the magnum if your looking for a more traditional length.

1 of 1 found this helpful Very nice weight to this bokken, the back sling/sheath is mediocre quality sadly but definitely functional albeit the straps aren't very fitting even when adjusted to the largest size
