Worked like a champ, solder sticks really well.
It take some really good soldering skills but I repaired the jack connector on a wired xbox headphone with mic using this kit and the green colored one seemed appropriate for this. I have extras now for that fancy set of headphones with controller that has a short in it.

Looks exactly like original, only its too small, doesn't fit the hole
The grommet looks exactly like the original on my 01 Ford Explorer 5.0L intake and like my 95 Cobra intake, however, its too small for the hole. Hotdog down a hallway. Doesn't touch. Mine went missing during a rebuild so I had find a solution. Bought a Dorman at the parts store and same issue, (same casting part number as well). I decided to try to add an o-ring to shim it up and a liberal amount of silicone to make sure it seals and it worked. I would not recommend this nor would I buy it again.

The right part and works great
Appears to be genuine as stated. Went on super tight but I think that was due to some damage on the shaft that was already there. Got it installed and adjusted and works perfect and changing gears is so much easier now.
