Nice and affordable!
Affordable and very good quality out of the box. Any easy upgrade to faded, cracked and tired lenses.

Great lost treasure - much more than just "There She Goes"
I just discovered this album as a few songs came through my Pandora rotation... These guys did great work! In my opinion a couple of these songs could be released as singles today, and if the band had any current buzz they would do well. The La's are 90's pop, but have a great 60's vibe in some songs, and their musicianship is clearly a notch above most.

Highly recommended account of early unconventional warfare in WW2 N.Africa
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a re-print of a book originally published in 1945. The author was the intelligence officer for the LRDG, so his perspective and ability to re-count a broad range of activities is unique among LRDG accounts. Some great stories, although told from a perspective of the era. You need to go to other books to put the LRDG's activities in a broader historical perspective. A recommended read for anyone interested in the North Africa Campaign - an essential read for those interested in the non-conventional desert warfare of the time. Oh yes - and helps clarify the often misunderstood relationship between the SAS and the LRDG.
