The Title Says it All
From the beginning, this book grabbed my attention and didn’t let go until I reached the end.
Doug’s knowledge about and passion for all things black bear simply leaps off the page and draws you into each moment.
This really is the Ultimate Guide. I feel very confidant in my ability to locate and or call in and harvest bears this fall.
But even if I don’t fill a tag (that’s hunting after all), I will at least be able to understand what happened and learn from the experience, and better prepare myself for the following season.
I highly recommend this book!

Comfortable with Miles and Weight
So far, I’ve hiked about 50-60 miles with 30 and 50 lb weighted packs. These boots are comfortable out of the box, waterproof, and so far, comfortable to the last mile. Time will tell, but I expect to purchase them again when the time comes.
