Amazing Remote
1 of 1 found this helpful I’ve read in a few places that this remote can do RF signals but I’m not so sure it can. I haven’t been able to get my device to do any RF signals. However, I was able to convert my media PC to IR signals and now my Logitech Harmony Advanced 1000 can control 100% of my home theater devices. I have 10 different devices that make up my home theater system: two TiVo’s, a media PC running BeyondTV, a satellite box, a Sony DVD player, a Philips CD player, a Toshiba DVD/VCR combo unit, a Samsung OTA HD box, a Philips wide-screen HD TV, and an Onkyo home theater system. So you can see not only do I have a wide variety of different devices, but also different manufactures and this device can control them all. Best of all though, you can program activities will turn on specific devices and set them to the correct inputs depending on what you want to do – so NO more turning on two / three different devices and having to remember what to set them to in order to watch / listen to what you want! When you switch between activities, the remote will turn off the devices that aren’t needed, turns on any other devices that are needed, and sets all of them to the correct input for the new activity. I should warn you though, depending on how many devices you have, it can take several hours to program this remote to the point that you’re happy with it. It took me about 8 hours over a span of about a week to finally get everything they I wanted it. Despite the long, involved setup process, I love this remote. I never have to reach for any of my other remotes. And remember one other important thing if you purchase this remote – remember to remove the batteries from your other remotes – after a few years, the batteries may explore and ruin your original remote!

Great for Raid 5
This is an older model - there are faster ones on the market now. I needed this to replace one that went bad after many years of continuous use and many power failures thanks to a faulty UPS.

Works for file transfers, but not for fast charging which is why I bought it
The description said it could be used for charging, but it doesn't work for fast charging, just slow charging which doesn't even keep pace with how fast I use up my battery - so with this extension in place, my phone still drains the battery, just at a slower pace. I would have been better off spending more money and just getting a longer cord specifically for charging my phone. Live and learn.
