New Aftermarket Left Driver Side Door Lock Cylinder For Honda Fit 2007 2008

Fixes Problem at Reasonable Cost

A common defect in Honda vehicles is that the locks wear out, perhaps because they are such good cars that you can drive them forever. However, when this happens, this is a tremendous savings over replacing the whole unit, which is what you would have to do if you bought the genuine Honda part. Honda does not allow you to simply replace the defective cylinder. I had a mechanic install mine as it is a not an easy process to replace so unless you are highly skilled (requires removing the window) I would not recommending doing this on your own. However, you will still come out spending only about half what it would cost to have the Honda part installed at a Honda dealership. So far the only downside is that the lock comes with only one key. It would be better if it came with two.
