My introduction to post-hardcore

I remember watching the music video for "Understanding in a Car Crash" on the family computer many times as a teen. I thought there was something strangely cool about the lead singer Geoff. Maybe it was his energy and relatively long black hair? The song and album were my introduction to post-hardcore and screamo. I was a fan throughout high school and Thursday holds a special place in my heart. The vocals and guitars are distinctive - when I hear a similar "sound" I get nostalgic. I still love that song and "Autobiography of a Nation".
