Don't Miss This One
I bought this book a few days ago and I'm the time of my life with the transcriptions. You want note-for-note Joe Pass you've got it. Tons of great ideas from the master without the headache of learning by ear. Although written for the intermediate to advanced player, an advanced player will thoroughly enjoy romping through these tunes. "Cheek to Cheek" is worth the price alone, but there's more--much more. You'll definitely take it slow, measure by measure and figure by figure, but the reward is definitely worth the effort! Joe was a master of understatement and fluidity. You'll certainly gain more insight into his style with this book than the others on the market.
