Kimber is the Rolls Royce of practical handguns, and most semi-experienced customers have no difficulty making this distinction. The maintenance of a Kimber also directly parallels the intricate complexity of any British car. The solitary grievance I harbor with my custom-line Kimber is its amusingly inefficient disassembly practice. Maddening stuff, and potentially dangerous in urgent situations. I love my Kimber, and I will certainly purchase another custom firearm from them, but gee whiz guys there must be a balance to be found between Glock (reliable, yet elementary) and the Constructivist approach to Physics as interpreted by a team of Congolese silverbacks with a whiteboard and Kimber's engineering budget.
It is my explicit hope somebody within Kimber reads this review and considers its merits.
