Very weak. It should not be referred to as "hunting" in title.
The rubber holding mechanism broke first time I drew it back. I did not over draw it broke at about 60% draw. I had to modify it to make it work. Very weak. I got it to discourage coyotes. It doesn't have enough power to do that. It's only use is really target practice. Maybe with a different type of rubber it could be stronger. The wood part is well built and strong however it's little.
