So far, so good.
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this deck to replace a stock deck in my f250. I had do do some dash modification(cutting away the top and bottom lip of the opening for the stereo. A bastard file and hack saw work great.) and buy an install kit to make it work, but it wasn't too difficult. I bought this unit mostly because I have an iPhone and was interested in the carplay features. I use the carplay all the time but have found other features useful. I don't use it for a back up monitor or for playing dvds, although it is certainly more than capable. Occasionally it freezes up, maybe once a month or so, but I just reset it by popping out the faceplate and popping it back in and i'm back in business quickly. The reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is because it has a soft resistive touch screen, which is fine, but scratches easily. It would have been nice if pioneer had manufactured this unit with a glass capacitive touch screen a la iPhone, but you can't beat the price for a nav unit with carplay.
