Pioneer PDR-609 - audiophiles choice
27 of 27 found this helpful Pioneer's PDR 609 CD recorder/player superceded the PDR 509 and the earlier PDR 555. All three recorders achieved various accolades but the 609 proves to be a highly accurate CD burner and also a high quality player. Features allow the copying of digital or analogue sources to produce top-notch clones and the benfit of a good sized clear LCD display make operation a joy. Digital, coaxial an doptical connections allow optimum connection to your system. Pioneer's Legato Link Conversion circuitry provided excellent copies time and time again. Sadly the production of this fine model has ceased but anyone look in to obtain a hi-fi copier (rather than PC based copier) should still be able to find second hand models in the market - and the earlier 509.
