Refurb M277 Printer
3 of 3 found this helpful After taking it out of the box, I plugged in the power cord, ethernet cable and phone cable. Then I went to the System Preferences (Mac) selected the printer option and everything nearly came together without my intervention. It couldn't have been easier. My iMac is connected to the printer by ethernet, but my laptop is not. I set the printer in the laptop's preferences and printed by WiFi without a hitch. Scanning is quick and easy also using the Image Capture app from Apple. I rarely use the fax function and have had no chance to do so. I think incoming and outgoing faxes will be just as easy. Note: I used an OEM toner to ensure good print quality and function. I'll try an aftermarket toner later and report back.
