Nice little upgrade
Got this to upgrade a Toshiba L555d when replacing the fried motherboard. The original CPU was a M520. So this has a little speed boost and double the L1 cache, not a massive upgrade but well worth the cost. Also it came well boxed in an antistatc plastic box and foam.

Excelent Motherboard
This board is just the title says an original NEW Toshiba Motherboard. An exact drop in to bring an ailing laptop to life, that and try to buy a new 17in lappy for this price. The first board had an issue with one DIMM slot and I called for an RMA, as a 20+ year computer field tech, I explained a breakdown of the problem then I had a replacement at my door in days. While I had the laptop apart a second time I upgraded the CPU to a Turion II Ultra M640 and put in new memory. One BIG note here is, all of these Motherboards suffer a issue with the northbridge/video chip. It is the one located next to the CPU, it is known to have overheating problems, so whatever you do DO NOT reuse the original thermal pad, look up "fujipoly" and use a pad from them. Also to, Laptops have very little in the thermal dissipation department, so use a high quality thermal paste such as arctic silver MX-4, but this should be standard practice on all electronics. And Again Many Many Thanks.
