Better Than I Expected
1 of 1 found this helpful This is my first set of Tritium sights. I was skeptical as to how well they'd work.
These sights work! They kick in about the time darkness makes it hard to see the non-glowing part of the sights. Flashlights illuminate targets but not sights. Unless you hold the flashlight behind the sights, which is awkward to do. Living out in the country, I've come across this a few times. These sights are illuminated enough to see, even if someone else is holding the flashlight.
Note: There is no white outline on the rear sights. At first, I thought this would be a problem. But is hasn't been. The rear sights have a silver metal like outline, while the front has a painted white outline. It actually makes the front more distinct. Yet, I have no problem seeing the rear.

Having a Separate USB Cable is Great!
My original charger had the cable attached. This is typically the point of failure, as it's susceptible to bending and flexing during storage in bags. The other plus is having a micro-usb cable that can serve other purposes.
The only complaint I have is that the magnet is not as strong as the original. The watch isn't held as tightly, and is more prone to come lose if moved around while charging.

0 of 1 found this helpful I drink a great deal of water. A water bottle is a necessity! And this bottle has been great. It's a great size, not too big(heavy) and not too small. I've been using it for a few weeks, and the construction has held up.
I've never been a big fan of bottled water. It's just too pure. No minerals. And mineral water can be costly. Plus, it's not ecologically responsible to add so many water bottles to the land fills. Free tap water is the way to go!
The problem is that you never know the quality of the local tap water. I've come across some really funky tap! Bad smells and questionable quality. It leaves you wondering what might have seeped into the water lines. Let's face it, water lines are one huge network of pipes that actually connect to sprinkler systems, sinks, and toilets all over the area.
That's where the Berkey filtration systems comes in. It's an added layer of protection from biological contamination among other things.
There's also the added benefit of having the ability to filter pond water if you had to. One never knows when they may end up fleeing the city due to a zombie apocalypse!..lol.
I've read some reviews that say these bottles are hard to drink from. That it takes too much effort to squeeze and suck the water out. It's actually fairly simple to get a mouthful of water. And after miles and miles of bicycle riding, I can tell you that mouthfuls are the way to go! Sip and ride, sip and ride. Too much water will slush around in the belly. Too little, and your mouth starts going dry. Not to mention, sipping makes your water last longer.
