Connection port was destroyed when disconnected the board cable
The original part that came with the phone has been plugged and unplugged many times and the connector is still in place. This spare part was plugged once and when it was unplugged, most of the port detached from the board and came attached to the board cable.
Pros:
- I guess it's good if you are only looking for cheap parts.
Cons:

Works- for a few weeks. Give up and buy a non-Nokia phone.
The Nokia x6 has a known charging port issue, and isn't issuing a recall. As a consequence, you may wish to entertain swapping out the port yourself, which is a fairly simple process. Unfortunately, the replacement port lasts only a short time before succumbing to the same issue as the original.
The problem is the foam pad beneath the USB port, it becomes compressed and the port fails. Changing the port only resolves temporarily as the pad is already compressed, offering no support. Changing the port is throwing more money away, just steer clear of NokiaRead full review...
