Vocalist of a Lifetime

First, I have to start by saying that anyone who gives this project anything less than an excellent rating needs to go back and RELISTEN to it! With just his remake of Stevie Wonder's "My Cherie Amour", it ranks way higher than what we can rate on this scale. Though this project wasn't as successful as expected, how do you sell as many copies as he did of this project with NO PROMOTION. From what I understand, this album sold apprx 700,000-800,000 units. AND WITH NO PROMOTION??? That's just amazing to me. This album has all the hottest producers, with some of their greatest work. Everyone from Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, & Missy Elliot to Diddy(Puff Daddy at that time), Babyface, Teddy Riley, Joe, Devante(of Jodeci), Dave Hollister, Al B. Sure...Heck this list could go on. These are legends of our time. Tony's voice is one of the greatest in our generation! His God given gift doesn't come very often. He's just one of the GREATEST to me! Plus, The Kissing Game was great, but this album does give a little grown up side to Tony. He grew between the last Hi-Five album and Sexsational. What a growth spurt! When you listen to this cd, you can just hear the maturity and growth. I LOVE THIS CD! Another plus to this cd is that almost all the songs sound like they could still hit the airwaves now and not know that the music was done almost 10 yrs ago! Though it didn't hit BIG, it's definitely one to have forever in your cd collection. HECK, buy 2 or 3 to last a liftime. IT'S WORTH IT!Read full review...

Irreplaceable artist

There is only one Tony Thompson this album is awesome. The music industry suffered a great lost when he left this world. I miss artist like him. R.I.P Tony Thompson

For those of you that don't know...

I originally bought this cd when Tony first went solo from the 90's boy band "Hi Five" it is the bomb!!! It is sensual, and you can definitely let it ride from start to finish.
