Just What I Needed

I've owned an S2 Skyrocket for over four years. A couple of months ago, the screen bled and went black apparently for no reason. I had not yet backed up my texts or anything else to Google but did have a Kies backup. So I shopped for a used S2 that would work so I could download everything from the Kies backup and then upload to Google and then download to my new S7 Edge. This phone was in excellent shape and worked just fine. The screen is extremely clear and bright, even outdoors. The form factor is large enough to see but small enough to fit in a pocket. And it's attractive. I'll be taking it to AT&T to test on a sim card and then put it back up for sale on eBay to pass on to someone else. The phone is still an excellent phone for someone to use as their first smart phone, as a phone for a child or teen, or as a backup phone, at a small fraction of the the price of a new one. Very happy with the Skyrocket!Read full review...

Could be better but is an old model

The phone physically is great, there are a lot of problems with not staying on and restarting, applications don't want to download and app just stop running and the whole phone restart. I purchased two and both have same issues. Probably the worst phones I've bought online.Read full review...

Great phone

I have owned my Samsung Galaxy SII since 2013. It was my first smart phone. The battery life is not that great, but overall it is still a good phone. I am having to look for a new phone now because the portal for the charging chord is not working. I tried purchasing a new battery, but that did not work either. The charging portal was actually draining the battery. I guess I can't really complain since I have owned the phone for 4 years, although I had a flip phone, before this one, for 12 years.Read full review...

Excellent, flawless device for a backup phone!!!

I bought this one cheap for $100 jus to run some apps that arent avilable on my Lumia 925, although its android, it is still flawless. This thing has a AMOLED display, I like AMOLED cuz the black is jus black and doesnt look like it's lit, and Lumia 925 is also AMOLED. I like it that although it comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but still I can upgrade to 4.12 Jelly Bean without rom the whole thing. Well I have some highlights: this thing is fluent enough as a ultimate device should be, this thing works really good, but the problems are: IT DOESNT HAVE A SIM CARD SLOT meaning cant plug a SIM card in. IT DOESNT SUPPORT MORELOCALE, so I did rom the device jus to get Simp Chinese. This thing's battery is 1800 mAh but it drains fast. When I rom it I got a problem: this thing reconizes itself as a I9100 which is a offical Galaxy S II and if u use I9100 rom, the wifi, and some soft buttons wont work, and then if u dont rom it back to offical, it will not accept itself's rom. I like it that this thing worth its money.... I think I can still do gaming on a $100 device still.Read full review...

Great Phone for under $75, However it is still 3 years old

Despite being over 3 years old, the Samsung Galaxy S2 is still an amazing phone. It can be updated to Android 4.1 ICS. It's 8MP camera shoots very clear and vivid photos almost identical to the S3. It has a fast dual core processor with 1GB of RAM so it can run most apps and games available without a problem. Also, it has a very nice screen that can be very bright. The battery life is good, although with normal use I get about 6-7 hours between charges. The design and build quality is good, with the same plastic body Samsung uses on all it's phones and tablets. Overall, this is still a good phone if you want a quality smartphone for under $75. For around $50 more, you could get a Moto G which has a quad-core processor and is much newer. However, the S2 is still a great contender for a cheap smartphone that I would recommend.Read full review...

Solid phone

Sure, it is a few generations old, but, it is a perfectly adequate phone with a good camera and room for plenty of apps. The seller ships rocket fast and the one I received only had a small scratch on the back cover. The screen was in perfect condition.Read full review...

Samsung Galaxy s2

I just received this phone so it is still too early for a fair evaluation. It did come as advertised being very clean and free from any damaging marks or scratches on the screen surface. Still too early to know if all the features work but so far very happy with this purchase. Kudos to astiles and his site.
