Nice Phone!

First off I'll get the negative out of the way, the buttons on the front are too sensitive, so when I pull it out of the case a lot of times It will hit the ignore call button, secondly I'm not a huge fan of the one piece keypad, i like to be able to feel which button I'm hitting, third I have large hands so while doing something I'll end up hitting the GPS or Media net buttons. I'm sure there is a way to disable them in the settings I just haven't gotten that far yet.

Otherwise its an awesome phone, its almost as easy to use as my old 6126, but with more features comes more places to get lost, still relatively easy to navigate as with any Nokia. It seems to be built sturdy, and I actualy picked this over the updated 6750 for the stainless steel faceplates since I tend to be rather hard on phones.

I give it a 4/5 becasue of my tendency to bump some of the buttons accidentally, but if I can figure out how to turn them off eventually, I wouldn't hesitate for a 5/5

It's exactly what I wanted.

cons: it is old technology, and doesn't have many features that a modern smart phone has.

Pros: I like carrying it more than a larger smart phone. It is small, fits in my pocket better, and is all I want in a cell phone. texts and verbal communication is all I want.Read full review...

Solid workhorse - Designed & built to handle "business."

Easy to use menus and awesome, clear speakerphone that finally I have a phone people can hear me clearly on.
Beautifully designed with a solid feel. Neat external display and price was excellent. Refurbished unit, but to be honest, you wouldn't be able to tell if you didn't know before buying. The protective plastic is in place over camera, external & internal screens. Good solid feel. I'm told it's one of Nokia's better handsets. I've rated the battery 5* based on what I have read in professional reviews and it is a 1500 mAh battery and nowhere the screen size of touchscreen phones.
Sure, it's Symbian O/S which is not an issue for me. I don't like Android O/S, nor Google system; accordingly, this phone is ideal for me, and because it is my home phone, email, internet etc.... I need excellent standby.... and this handset will handle the pace. I bought from EBay user dang.88 Excellent trader and no issues.. If you don't like touchscreen phones or Andoid O/S and need battery stamina that lasts the distance... this is an older handset - true......... but new isn't always necessarily better. Well done Nokia! We all have different experiences with a product, but for me, this handset hits the spot and serves my needs admirably.

Nokia 6650

Pros,
Long battery life, loudspeaker easy to here.Phone size and weight compfordable, built like a tank

Cons,
Hard,at first,to find what you're looking for;ring tones, ring volume, bluetooth, etc. On the front cover, ttouch sensative keys, touch one and the functions change, aggrevatingwhen your putting phone in pouch.

If you love a challenge, this phone's for you.Amazing what it can do,if you figure out how to do it.If you just want to make and receive calls the Nokia 6555 may be a simplier choice.

The 6650 is a great phone, but tough to navigate.

Enough features to be fun - low cost makes it great!

I first used this model when I upgraded through AT&T years ago. I have since replaced using ebay, as needed. (I've 'washed' a couple of my phones.)
I use the phone and camera only. For those purposes this phone is great!
The size, fun colors on the keypad, great camera that allows for personalization of wallpaper, etc.

Great phone that easy to use.

Purchased because of past history with Nokia. Have found they make good phones that are easy to use. Both cover screen and inside screen are large and make it easy for me to tell at a glance who is calling. Also Nokia allows seperate ring tones for each entry in address book. It is important that I be able to know who is calling as I am a professional driver and don't want to use phone unless necessary while driving.Read full review...

nokia 6650

This is a very cool phone with more features that i can handle. The reception is great and the screen is phenomonal. My only complaint on this phone is the location of the gps button is directly below the navigation button ,Other than that I love this phone ,my wife has threatened to take it or at least get another like it.I got this phone new & came with all the papers & instructions ,I originally was just looking for a cheap replacement phone but the price I found for this one was the same as several used ones I had seen.I have had nokias phone & they have always worked great for me .the last 2 phonews i owned where sony ericcsons both where decent but not as durable as the nokias . Bottom line this phone is great for the basic calling duties ,casual texting but its not a replacement for a pda or larger format smartphones ,I would rate this better than a regular cell phone with its great features but not quite as good as a pda for lack of a qwerty boardRead full review...

Easy to use.

For this 'mature' user, the Nokia is just right. In fact, this is my second one.
Since it is a replacment, I give the phone 'good' rather than 'excellelnt' rating for features: the glass cover over time loses its function, thereby making it unable to give time or access features from cover; I was told this came about due to it getting scuffed about being in my pocket or banging about in my purse.
So, I purchased the same with a 'fresh' cover.

Best 3G Phone for AT&T in 2009

Best Call Quality of any phone I have ever had; Sound quality is equal to land line. Symbian OS takes a few days to get use to using; But the Symbian OS is great; Phone is very sturdy built. Camera has a flash. The phone is a simple to use smart phone in a fold type phone; I love itRead full review...

Nokia 6650

I decided to buy because my LG CU920 was not working properly anymore. I bought this as a backup phone while waiting for the contract to finish with AT&T. I found out like many people has pointed out. The layout for the Media NET and GPS key are located in a place where for those who don't want to use those feature will at some point accidentally push the button. It's unfortunate that there's no easy way to relocate the keysRead full review...
