Great little phone but the hinge always breaks

(I've had 5 or 6 in the past few years). They are impossible to break when dropped, but sooner or later the hinges give way and eventually the phone stops working. Since I don't want a real "Smart Phone," this has worked out for me, since they are cheap and easy to replace,

Very disappointed with this phone

I am very unhappy with the Motorola flip phone that I purchased from Loot Hive on ebay. It arrived very dirty and is sticky. More unsettling is that it will not turn on. When attached to the charger that they provided, the phone screen says "Unauthorized Charger". I believe it is not actually charging and that may be why it doesn't turn on.

In addition to these issues, there is an open hole is at the top of the phone where I presume the camera was. The screen and buttons are sticky, dirty and scratched.

I have to question if anyone checked this phone at all? I certainly would have thought someone would clean it and check the charger before sending to me.

Old-school workhorse

This phone can take a lot of abuse. It's strictly good as a phone, and texting if you don't mind tapping through on the number keys. We had to go to Verizon to get our contacts synced, but for that minor inconvenience we have an increfibly cheap phone with good sound clarity that can handle the occasional drop or spray of water from the bay.Read full review...

Filthy

The phone arrived very dirty. One of the batteries had the red dot and was in usable condition. There was a few scratches, but that was expected. No charger, had to use an old one I had. I had another that had a broken hinge and thought the one bought would replace it. But in the condition that it arrived, was afraid of germs.Read full review...

love my devour!

i really like this phone! i've had it for a few weeks now and really haven't had any trouble with it. i bought this phone because i had a blackberry and was tired of all the blackberry problems! this phone has android 1.6 which is now fairly old, but it is still lightning fast compaired to my blackberry at loading pages. the only problem i had with the motorola devour is that every once in a while i used to bump the mute button or end call button while i was talking to someone. it drove me crazy until i realized that the little motorola m on the left hand top corner of the face of the phone is a prox sensor which turns the screen back on when you move the phone away from your ear. as long as you keep the phone touching your ear the entire time you're on it, you won't have the problem i had. anyways, great phone! i would recommend this for anyone who has never had an android or wants to try a smartphone.Read full review...

Good phone, well made, lives up to the Motorola name.

I genuinely like this phone. I like the ease of operation and accessibility to social networking updates and emails. The apps are okay, but the phone is of good quality. The QWERTY keyboard is a little small for my sausage fingers (cause I'm a bigger guy) but most people probably wouldn't have a problem with it. The battery doesn't have much of a life to it when you have wifi, bluetooth and other things running at the same time. When you shut these off, it lasts longer. Use the battery saver settings and you should be okay. Good phone, well made, lives up to the Motorola name.Read full review...

It's a cool phone with fun features but annoying at times.

I researched and researched this phone before I got it and saw that there were many good reviews on it. It is less expensive than the Droid with all of the same features. I got this phone around November and was delighted when I first received it It was a lot of cool features such as Twitter and Facebook updates and streaming videos from Youtube along with many applications to choose from.
Now, I'm on my second phone. The buttons are small and can be annoying to press. Like many Verizon phones, it continually shuts off at random times. You'll also notice a little delay when opening new menus or applications.
And the battery is a pain to get out. it's built in to the side so you have to maneuver it a certain way to get it out.
The browser is good though. It's fast when there's enough 3G to power it but sucks a lot of battery.
