Marvel Super Heros

I like this game, as I like all the "Vs." games, but I wonder how much faster it would be with the added 4MB of ram for the sega saturn? The controls are placed well, having all buttons laid out like the arcade, and the shoulder buttons act as the 3 punches and 3 kicks, so that makes super combos easy. I forgot that there aren't many characters in this game as their are in the VS games, but still fun. Probably isn't worth paying too much though.Read full review...

Marvel Mayhem

Marvel Super Heroes is a 2D fighter with potential. I actually like this better than X-Men Children of The Atom. The gameplay here is better. The backgrounds are great and I like the music. If you have a RAM cart, you can get extra frames of animation. My favorite characters are Blackheart(Heart of Darkness Super Combo is very impressive), Psylocke, Spider-Man, and Wolverine. I enjoyed beating down Thanos and Dr. Doom in this one. By the way, they are unlockable characters. The loading time isn't too bad like X-Men: COTA, but it could've been a tad better. Marvel and Capcom makes up for it with X-Men Vs. Street Fighter and Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter. Marvel Super Heroes was also released on Super Nintendo(War of the Gems) and Playstation. Marvel Nostalgia!!!

I played the arcade back in 96 and with only 25 cents, nhad 50 straight wins with only spider-man which made me appreciate his gameplay even more. It brought back nostalgia to play it again on my Saturn and add it to my growing collection of Marvel Vs Capcom series which include the first 2 plus x-men vs Street fighter Marvel superheroes vs Street fighter, and X-men children of the atom. Fun game!

I was looking for a 2d fighter on the Saturn and I came across the import version of this for a good price. The game is great against a friend. Some of the characters like the Hulk and Juggernaut are HUGE. 2 Juggernauts only leave about 2 inches between each other on the screen.

It's a good solid game overall, just feels a bit limited compared to the number of playable characters in more recent games like Marvel vs Capcom. The import version does have a lot of English so I had no problem navigating the menus.Read full review...
