Arrived early, bolt on and go, would recommend for any 258 Jeep motor, mine was in a 79 cj5

Just what I needed, went on a 79 cj5 with a 258. Little change to the vacuum lines but a bolt on and go for a back yard mechanic.

I replace this carburetor a year ago. That remanufactured carburetor was junk. it never work properly. I put the Maxpeedingrods carburetor on and I didn't even have to adjustt the choke, idle mixture, fast idle, no adjustments and it works perfectly!Read full review...

Carb replacement

Bolted right on. Started right up.
Did have to change throttle linkage ball stud to fit modified throttle.

Carburetor

Carburetor did work when installed, only problem was had to remove throttle cable pin and re-weld it on the opposite side of the bracket-, installed wrong at the factory.
