After owning this product for a year, I can say the battery has lasted longer than expected. It's not a Commercial Security Camera so don't expect those features (or the price) that comes along with very high-end cameras. Yet for home ownership, it works great and it's easy to use. It's recommended to re-format the USB flash storage each time you recharge the camera.

Solar charger is the way to go with the 1860 batteries.

Solar charger is the way to go, seal the USB cord with rtv, remove the batteries that are in camera. You will need to remove and charge them. Mine came dead. They are two on eBay, one with batteries, one without. Has long cord no more expensive batteries. Mine is working great. Read full review...

Does not work well with the Echo Show. Had to lower video quality for it to work.
