Handy

A handy electronic with higher than average battery life for most BlackBerry devices. Small enough for easy pocket-portability.

Great Temporary Phone

I had to send my regular phone into the manufacturer for repairs and this phone filled in pretty nicely. I'll be glad to get my phone back though!

very very good

The good: The RIM BlackBerry Tour 9630 offers world-roaming capabilities as well as Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.2-megapixel camera. The smartphone offers a great design that combines a sharp display and an easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard in a fairly compact size.

The bad: The smartphone lacks Wi-Fi. The Web browser falls short of the competition, and there's a bit of shutter lag on the camera. You can't save applications to a media card.

The bottom line: With a winning design and fast performance, the RIM BlackBerry Tour 9630 is one of Verizon Wireless' top smartphones for both business users and messaging fanatics.

Good product with minimum price

It is actually an upgrade to the 8830 (World Addition) even though it looks a lot like the Bold, it is still considered to be an upgrade of the 8830 because it has international calling. It is the size of the Curve, the design of the Bold and some features from the 8830. It has the same software as the Bold because that is the new format for the next Blackberrys to come. The Tour is similar to the Curve 8900. The Curve 8900 is for T-mobile and AT&T, while the Tour is for Sprint and Verizon. The Tour is an awesome Blackberry Smartphone and is a 3G phone which is one of the advantages it has over the Curve 8900. Although the Curve has WI-FI they are both solid devices with minor differences!Read full review...

goog phone

The Blackberry has plenty of features for the person who is using it for business or personal use. A large phone list with full details both work and home and a picture profile anniversary, birthday and notes. I use all the features available because I am a field service technician, and store all my clients details emails and websites. And the GPS program to guide me to locations I have never been to before to avoid getting lost. The alerts help to never miss a call, voice mail or email message from a customer or from my own companyRead full review...

good stuff

The sprint blackberry tour. A very efficient phone to say the least. To say the least, that is what led me to buy this phone. After all the rift raft and hoo ha about what such and such phones can do, I found my self at quite a stand still. I came to realization that it's not just about what a phone can do, but what a phone does best and how long it can keep doing what it does best. The blackberry phone is a solid and consistent phone that I have found to be far more reliable than any other device I have laid my hands on. From email processing to the simple bordered design of the phone, I have not found a single flaw in the system. I am satisfied and confident about the abilities and reliability of this phone, and i trust that blackberry will keep doing what it does best,...implementing not only good, but quality products.Read full review...

exellent

This is a great Blackberry device for the Verizon network. Keyboard is easy to use, after you've gotten used to it - especially if you were a touch screen user. Blackberry App world could be better and easier to use but it still offers some nice applications. The Bold 9630 would have to be one of the more higher end Blackberry devices you can get. Nice speeds and little to none freeze ups. If you're looking for a business email phone this would be a very good choice. Emails are received very quickly - sometimes faster than on my computerRead full review...
