Black 120GB iPod

The iPod I bought was of the last generation of iPods, very thin, in several colors and high capacity topping at 160GB, before they line was discontinued 3 or 4 years ago,In the height of MP3 players, iPods were the dominating product, easy to use, great functionality and sound, Initially it was a bit bulky due to the size of the hard drive and battery and with relatively small capacity (5-10 gigs), constrained by the existing technology, but that didn't stop many of music aficionados like me, to start converting their music CD collection and creating an iTunes library, as time went by, Apple came out with models with more capacity and thinner,. The 120GB I got was almost like new condition, no scratches and working perfectly.Read full review...

Bad hard drive

I was unable to sync any music to the iPod so I used the CopyTrans software and I was able to sync a few thousand songs. Every time I tried to sync with iTunes there were errors.I thought it might be because the hard drive wasn't formatted correctly so after formatting to Fat32 I ran diagnostics and it had 16000 bad sectors. I ran 2 different hard drive recovery programs that failed. After testing I wasn't able to sync with CopyTrans anymore. The hard drive needs to be replaced.Read full review...

soooo good to have my music back!!!!

I had a 160gb and when the hard drive went bad i thought that was the end of having aaallllll my music with me on the go, but in the attempts to find a replacement(which their isn't) I stumbled onto this. I have had it had for about 3 weeks, it synced to my computer no problems and have had no problems with any of the functionality at all! SO glad bought it!Read full review...

Good product for refurbished

This iPod works well and has a good battery life. The click wheel is a bit sticky sometimes, and the glass screen plate isn't quite flush with the casing around it. But these are minor issues compared with how well the unit works overall.Read full review...

Classic is a cassic

The the iPod Classic is probably the best piece of equipment Apple has ever produced. It's easy to use durable and has a very long battery life. I'm not a true Apple fan more than Android person, but this is one piece of Apple equipment that I don't do without. It stays in my car and never leaves.Read full review...

Leary about electronics but happy to have purchased it!

I am very Leary about electronics because it takes a while to discover if all works as it should. In this case the disk was not completely wiped as asked so I had to determine if overlooked or if the person new how, or if the drive was bad. So after some investigating on the web with apple I was able to do an analysis on this drive. One thing one should ask about if purchasing is, was the drive formatted for Mac or PC. Knowing this would have saved me a lot of time. So I wiped and formatted the drive as Mac drive and prepared it for music. Then the next thing was to determine if all was in proper working order. Went through the steps to determine if all the buttons on the dial worked properly. The battery life seemed to hold it's charge and the unit worked well for a decent amount of time on that charge. I do't know Apple's time frame exactly but I believe close enough to Apple's statics in battery life. It did cut off songs but I will have to look more closely at the software set up. Sound is as expected on a unit like this. The iPod worked as it should and all functions appear to be in great working condition.Read full review...
