Perfect companion for everyday life. Very good phone, internet over Wifi or 3G, camera and millions of useful apps. I use The Things for mac and now all my to-to lists are synced with my iPhone and go everywhere with me.
iPhone is made with passion, care and great love to people who use it. It is seen in every detial. As for myself, other smartphones are just ugly copies of the Original One.
If you don't have enough money for iPhone 4, buy this one for sure. You won't see as much difference as internets say.Read full review...
Apple iphone 3GS White (16GB) (Unlocked)
I think iphone 3GS White (16GB) (Unlocked) is a great device especially the speed with which it operates. If you've ever used a 2G or 3G, the difference is immediately noticed. I have a 2G,a 3G and now I have a 3GS and I can cleary see the differences. One of the exceptional things besides the speed on the 3GS is the Voice Control feature. I just love it. The sensitivity is great. The flexibility of changing the lock screen and the background is fantastic. Well this could be done on both the 2G and 3G but not without jailbreaking them and using winterboard, bosspaper, ifile etc and uncomfortably moving through the menus not to mention trying to be a Geek yourself. Everything seems to come easily with 3GS. If you enjoy your 2G or 3G iphone trust me, you ain't seen nothing yet till you try the 3GS...and with the jailbreak, the sky is the limit. More space more speed more flexibility. It's very close to the Iphone 4. I also like the way the screen responds when you switch between the screens. It kind of "breathes" unlike the 3G or 2G. The only setback is if you lose your unlock by updating your software with apple, that could be a nightmare. You don't want to do that. When you get used to the iphone, you get hooked and you don't want to use any phone.T-MensRead full review...
Great Product by APPLE
The good: The iPhone 3GS finally adds common cell phone features like multimedia messaging, video recording, and voice dialing. It runs faster; its promised battery life is longer; and the multimedia quality continues to shine.
The bad: The iPhone 3GS' call quality shows no improvements and the 3G signal reception remains uneven. We still don't get Flash Lite, USB transfer and storage, or multitasking.
The bottom line: The iPhone 3GS doesn't make the same grand leap that the iPhone 3G made from the first-generation model, but the latest Apple handset is still a compelling upgrade for some users. The iPhone 3GS is faster and we appreciate the new features and extended battery life, but call quality and 3G reception still need improvement.Read full review...
Far better than an iPhone 4
I bought this phone because my highly-touted iPhone 4 turned out to be a piece of garbage, I didn't want to learn how to use a whole new phone again, and I still had a year and a half in my contract with ATT. I thought this phone would be slower than the iPhone 4; it's not, as far as I can tell. It has an advantage over the iPhone 4 in that the 4 uses a mini-SIM; the 3 uses a regular SIM, which means that: 1) if this phone breaks, I can take the SIM out and put it into one of my old phones and it will work, and 2) if travelling out of the country, since data rates are astronomical (and an iPhone will consume data usage virtually all the time), I just take my SIM out of this phone and put it into an old, non-smart phone. Problem solved. What do I dislike about the phone? I don't like Apple's policy of trying to limit what you can do with the phone so it only benefits them. And, it's big and clunky--but not big enough that it's easy to use the keyboard to text without making lots of errors. SmartText, if turned on, can be convenient--but I've already had its autocorrecting feature make gibberish out of what was correct, or at least understandable input.Read full review...
The Iphone 3gs is a great phone. It works well and the sound is great.
You can download thousands of applications. All of them great and fun.
After seeing the Ipod and the Iphone 4g, the 3gs's flaw is clear, the display, the new retina display gets the Iphone to a whole new level.
The 3gs is good for your first Iphone but you will always want to upgrade to a 4g.

Watch out: AT&T and Apple are after your walet!
Keep in mind that after getting a new IPhone you will get into a trap of 2 capitalist giants: AT&T and Apple. They will milk you any way they want. Need a proof? First of all you will pay at least $50 very month for Internet access when you can get this access through Wi-Fi anywhere you want. In other words your monthly AT&T bill will be at least over $200. For any piece of software through iTunes you will provide Apple with your account info which they will use not very honestly. The first time I swallowed this bite I found
myself $70 poorer because somebody charged my card with this amount without my
consent and , believe me, it took me a lot of efforts to prove that iI did not make all these purchases.
All the software the give you for free is useless junck.
Another side of my affair with my IPhone is that it is useless overseas. AT&T
inbeded something into it that after all this upgrades it turns into an IPod
and you will lose all the contact and other info you paid for.
Keeping all this in mind make a cold head calculation and do not get overexcited getting your new shiny toy

I bought the iPhone 3gs 2-3 weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 3M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The iPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket. I also like the music feature and the amount of memory on the phone. I don't really have any complaints about the phone, excellent look, excellent features and excellent system. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.Read full review...
