The iPhone is good overall.

But there are some dents not showed on the pictures before. So it made me disappointed slightly.

Iphone 2g (AKA 1g or classic) Hardware

The hardware

Industrial design
We're just going to come out and say it: the iPhone has the most beautiful industrial design of any cellphone we've ever seen. Yes, it's a matter of taste, and while we imagine some won't agree, we find it hard to resist the handset's thoughtful minimalism and attention to detail.
The display

The iPhone features the most attractive display we've ever seen on a portable device of this size, by far and bar none. While its 160ppi resolution isn't quite photorealistic, the extremely bright 3.5-inch display does run at 480 x 320, making it one of the highest pixel-density devices around today (save the Toshiba G900's mind-popping 3-inch 800 x 480 display). The screen also provides an excellent outdoor viewing experience. With optical properties reminiscent of transflective displays, the iPhone remains completely readable (if a only bit washed out) even in direct sunlight. Unfortunately, the display's viewing angle left a little something to be desired.

I phone 1st generation

The initial motivation for purchasing the use phone was to save some money, and found that in the journey to repair the phone; I could of by a new phone instead. I purchase about three use for parts phone and was able to build one I phone 2g with 16gig if memory. I fell in love with the iphone from the first day I experience its capabilities. Communication via text or phone is incredible. I love the apps for games, YouTube, web browsing and so many other things that it can do. The personalizing of the phone is also incredible, sounds and themes make it fun. I'm satisfied with the product, but the pain I had to go through and learning curve was not what I desired.Read full review...

HEAT SIGNATURE FROM IPHONE

GOOD THINGS:

well, the things that I like iphone is that it can provide me a very quick information from short cut buttons. For examples, with mails button I can connect very quickly to my Gmail account and reply e-mails very quickly. For thoese who is investing in stock market, you can set up your own stocks screen
and it also provide graphically analysis for you. So you can quickly get that information on how stocks moves. The other things that I like is that Iphone has many cool application for free download. For example, games & maps also development tools for Iphone developers.

BAD THINGS:

I can't directly delete the application from my memory by clicking an X mark. Instead of that I have to go ahead and connect to internet connection and un-install it online through "install" applicaton. This is a waste of time and phone net is not that fast enough to do many applications in one day.
Also When I keep connecting to the internet the Iphone will get hotter. If you put an Iphone near your ear to call your friends after internet you will feel that heat coming off.

BUT OVER ALL ARE GREAT I LOVE IT SO I WILL GIVE 8/10 FOR IPHONE AT&T

Excellent unit, Phone, messaging , Ipod and Apps

This is a great phone, Good phone unit with all the extras you need, Camera, phone,I Pod, Text and picture messages, although this is a first generation, this seems to be a total upgrade from the Black Berry Curve,it just has the look and feel of being more modern, I have heard that they are delicate etc, this is why I got an Otter Box cover for it prior to getting the phone, These covers basically keep your units in like new condition, I wanted to try the I- Phone without, switching carriers, I am with T-mobile now over 10 years, which has some benefits. Touch screen is not difficult to master to include texting.
These Units are still in great demand and seem to hold value despite not being brand new. I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend to anyone who wants to try. I have heard the new I-phone has even more stuff,I am at full satisfaction with the level of stuff, with this unit.

Iphone 2g 1st Generation 8 g cellphone

I recently received this phone. And I must say that it is a remarkable iphone. I am very impressed with how it responds to touch easily. And that you can download basically numerous category of apps for free. I brought a 2G, 1st Generation Iphone 8G and the functionality of this phone is extraordinary. I have own many types of phones before but this one is by far the best. The reception of videos is crystal clear, not to mentioned the high quality of the pictures. I am still learning about the many features of this phone. And I have not downloaded any music yet, but I'm sure it is as simply as downloading applications to this phone. This is a must have. I decided to buy this phone because I wanted the real iphone and not a generic imitation iphone.Read full review...

IPhone 2g

I love the iPhone. When it works it works well. I had to purchase a new iPhone recently because the wifi failed. This was my second iPhone with a failed wifi. Without the wifi the phone is not as wonderful as with the wifi and my track record is not good with iphone wifi. Two phones and two failed wifi, hopefully three is a charm. When my second iphone wifi went out I was out of warranty, so I did not get the easy replacement. This is what you should know. When you first by an iphone and a 2 year contract, you get a warranty on the phone. If the phone hardware fails within the warranty period they will replace it. However when they replace it the hardware warranty clock does not restart at 0, it continues based on the original warranty. If after the original warranty runs out the hardware failed even if it is 4 months after they will not replace the phone. So my wifi on my first phone went out within 3 months of the warranty end period. I got a replacement for free. The wifi on my second phone went out after 3 1/2 months, but my original warranty was over and Apply only warrants the hardware for 90 days. So basically out of luck. They will replace it at a reasonable price, but they only warrant it for 90 days. So my only beef is with the reliability of the wifi. Everything else is great. It is my single most important device.Read full review...
