As my opener only had one sprocket, I had to modify the plastic chain guide on my opener so the top sprocket wouldn't hit it. Only took off a little plastic with a dremel. I could of used the sprocket/rod from my opener, but I wanted to use a new sprocket. Although I went ahead and used the chain spreader and roller too and tossed the old plastic cover.

Ball bearing modification appears very high quality and item installs exactly the same as OEM part. In theory, this part should last the lifetime of the garage door opener.
