Item was damaged during shipping due to insufficient packing. Seller insists that its my responsibility as the buyer to file a claim with the shipper. The seller hired the shipper and purchased insurance, its their job to deal with any insurance claims.
As a seller myself, I would have asked for photos from the buyer, given the refund, then decided if I wanted to proceed with the insurance claim. In this case I would not have filed the claim, as the damage was caused by poor packing.

I’m really disappointed in eBay and the sellers in general. I tried 4 times to buy a PS5 for my grandson and 3 of those times were fraudulent and the last didn’t have the item that I paid for. I don’t know if I will look to eBay for anything else because I can’t trust that item will be available. Not only did I not receive a PS5 through all of this but it screwed up my bank account.
