About us

My store, Turner Homestead, represents my life, my family, my loves. My husband and I have been married for 50 years. We have raised two beautiful daughters, both who have beautiful families of their own. David and I both are retired. He is a retired police detective and I am a retired Registered Nurse. We now have the time to do what we enjoy. For me, that means crafting a wide variety of products. What started out as a hobby has turned into a profession. I can't just make one candle, I make dozens. I can't just make one soap, I make hundreds. The list is long and varied. Before Covid, David built me a small "she shed" which is now chocked full of stock and supplies. My shed could be open to the public, but it just isn't large enough to accommodate shoppers and my work space. Thus, I turned to online platforms, such as Ebay hoping I can sell some items, so I can make more. In my "spare" time, I help David with his Ebay store, "ikeepufishing".
