First of all thank you for taking your time and visiting our store. I am the owner of Traditional Rug&Kilim Shop and I would like to inform you about the history and development of our company.

Mehmet K. is the founder and permanent guide of our company. He was born in Malatya in Anatolian provinces famous for carpet weaving. As an Anatolian tradition, female members of his family used to weave carpets and he set herself on his mind at a young age to make this job a profession. With this in mind, he traveled to different provinces of Anatolia and started collecting handmade rugs. In time, this job became an indispensable passion for him besides a profession.

Thanks to his honesty and reliability, he managed to climb the steps quickly and find himself among the largest wholesale carpet sellers of Istanbul. Now i took over this flag from him under his leadership and wanted to share this great experience of 50 years with the whole World through Ebay.

    This is an Excellent Seller! The Turkish Antique Rug was exactly as pictured and described. The rug is extraordinarily nice, with exactly the right amount of vintage distressing and fading for a tasteful antique. The rug was free of all smells, and ready to be deployed. There was a slight delay is dispatching, which the seller was helpful and communicative about, and once shipped, it got from Turkey to Connecticut in 3 days.
