I have bought and sold items for 40 years. I had an awesome 80's childhood. I really enjoyed selling at the flea markets with my parents and grand parents and I still have that enjoyment to this day. My father and grandfather were two of the greatest salesmen I have ever known. The name of my store comes from my grandfather. Just a quick back story. My family ran various Phillips 66 gas stations in the late 60's and early 70's. I'm a '73 baby so missed that but heard great stories about it. After that gas station era, my grandfather had boxes of Phillip 66 wooden nickels. All day long at the flea markets, I would watch my grandfather shake hands with all the old timers while talking to them. He never let go of the handshake until he was done with his short selling spill. He would end his spill with"Never take a wooden nickel". The handshake would be released and the man he was talking to would have a wooden nickel left in his hand. I still search for wooden nickels to this day.
