Sunrise Mission is a donor funded Christian homeless shelter serving Northern Michigan. We strive to show the love of Christ by providing shelter, food, and safety from a life on the streets for families, women, and men in our community. Many homeless Americans find themselves in crisis situations due to loss of employment, death of a loved one, or the end of a relationship among many other reasons. At Sunrise Mission, we offer a "hand up" to our Guests as they work to regain their independence and become proud, productive members of the community. Guests receive not only shelter but assistance in locating stable housing, employment, transitional housing, and access to other services they may need. The items we sell online are usually provided as donations by community partners, and 100% of the profits from our eBay store will be used to pay for housing, food, and support services for Guests of Sunrise Mission.
