My first job as a teenager was picking peaches in my uncles' fruit farm in the beautiful Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. Having a peach basket strapped to my chest and filling that basket with peaches was hard work, especially on hot days! Oh, and the peach fuzz...ugh! After college I moved to Michigan for my career and have been here since. Now retired, I correlate picking peaches to finding treasures (especially vintage) to bring to your home. Lugging those treasures around is just like that peach basket (heavy and full of goodness). It can be hard work too, but it is now my passion to find the best and "ripest" treasures everywhere I go!
