About us

"Persnickety" was one of our Grandma Betty's favorite words. As we thought about naming our store, we wanted our shoppers to know that we are very picky and particular about what we want to offer. It wasn't long before Grandma Betty and her word came to mind. That is how Persnickety Upscale Resale came to life. Grandma would be proud that two of her granddaughters, Janis and Christine, have started a business honoring her and bringing attention to antique, vintage, and forgotten items that deserve a new life! Perhaps you don't have the time or energy to hunt for unique treasures. That pursuit is our joy. We seek rare and unusual pieces because we love to bring them out of attics, basements, or dusty corners and hope that you love them as much as we do.
