I have a few solutions for the problematic LT-1 distributor. Since 2001 I have been replacing these on my LT-1 powered C-10 and I noticed that we need better choices. I used my 20+ years experience as an automotive test engineer to come up with effective tools to refurbish and test Optisparks. The key to keeping the Optispark happy on these aging engines is sealing. Equally important is guaranteeing that the distributor is working perfectly before you spend a day or two of your life installing it. I assemble each of my refurbished Optisparks with a very specialized high temperature sealer that is completely impervious to oil and antifreeze. I leak check each of my distributors to guarantee they will not ingest oil or water. Finally, I run the distributor on my test bench and record its output. This video will be sent to you after your purchase and you will notice your ebay username on the cap of the distributor.
