    My Grandmother (Johneta) bought the parent company Southern Tier Consulting roughly 20 years ago! We have family owned and operated it since. The middle of 2022 I told my grandmother I was going to start allowing people to purchase her plants online! Currently it is me Devin (Grandson), Heather (Mom), and Johneta (Grandma). We want to allow everyone access to the wonders of our beautiful native plants without hassle, and to provide the best experience along the way!

    We operate a nursery on 25 acres of bottomland on a tributary of the Allegheny River in Allegany County, New York. We grow plants in twelve concrete ponds, 7,000 square feet of plastic covered cold frames, 2,200 square feet of heated greenhouse, and nearly two acres of constructed earthen ponds. Currently we are able to provide a large number of bareroot plants with the land we have. We stock a number of species and are able to grow well over 250,000 herbaceous plants, and several thousand woody plants at one time.

    I’m so happy with how they arrived. The seller took extra care and I’m so glad that they put bubble mailer wrap on top of the seedlings to keep them from being jostled around. The post office left the box upside down, but the bubbles kept the ceilings in place undisturbed

    Seller was super helpful and provided a detailed set of instructions for most fauna, just not for aquatic plants. Very impressive shipping with simple yet ingenious packaging. Aquatic plants have fully taken to their new home. Will not hesitate to use again in the future.
