Our Sterling silver medallions are an exact copy of a bronze Sons of Liberty Medallion found on an Adirondack Mountains fishing trip in the 1960's.
Several Revolutionary War battles were fought in and around the Adirondacks.
THE SONS OF LIBERTY WAS FOUNDED IN 1765 AND ORGANIZED THE MILITIAS AGAINST THE BRITISH ARMY
THE DAUGHTERS OF LIBERTY WERE FOUNDED IN 1766 AND LED THE SUCCESSFUL FIGHT TO REPEAL THE STAMP ACT WITH ITS ONEROUS TAXES ON TEA AND OTHER COMMODITIES
We copy righted our medallions in the Bicentennial Year, 1976. In 2015 we began casting them in .925 sterling silver, in the historic district in Philadelphia, two blocks from Independence Hall.
Our medallions are the sized of a silver dollar, weigh approx. 18 grams and come with sterling clasps and rawhide leather cord (red or blue ribbon if you prefer, please specify!)
They are cast with a sterling silver mark, and the copyright date.
