The older 4 of my 6 kids, along with my wife have been great helpers with this store for many years. My 3 sons all keep their basketball shoes very nice over the years and end up selling them nearly every time they're done wearing them for close to the price they bought them for and use that money to buy their next new pair of basketball shoes.
One of my boys never passes on an opportunity to go to Goodwill with his mom or big sister, with the hopes of finding a great deal and turning a $1-$5 profit off of it on eBay.
In the winter over the years they have made good money shoveling, in the summer they made some off of grass cutting, and not as often but in Fall they padded their pockets with leaf raking money!
My father passed away a few years ago and left a fairly sizable collection of cards behind. As the boys and us sell them slowly over time the money goes to my mother. My father may not have been the wisest investor in the stock market, but he is still helping pay the bills!
