I was a third-generation Indian trader in my family going back over 100 years For 28 years I was the exclusive supplier to most western National Parks as well as Disney. In 1974 I founded the Indian Arts and Crafts Association, which was intended to promote and enhance the image of American Indian arts and crafts. The IACA stayed in operation for 34 years. While serving a Presidential appointment to the Advisory Board of the National Park Service, I was instrumental in establishing the IACA guidelines for the NPS. I served in that capacity for seven years. I am about to publish my fourth book on the history of Navajo trading posts to add to three books already in print. I left the business in the late 80s and stored left-over inventory. I am selling that inventory at greatly reduced prices from those marked in the 80s. I every instance my merchandise is marked just a little above cost. Each item is listed with an auction price and a Buy-it-Now option.
