  The Postal Service lost this item. The seller started a search, which was understandable. The postal service never found the item, as far as I know. The seller didn't want to refund the purchase price until the search was completed, which was also understandable -- to a point. At some point, though, you have to acknowledge that, after disappearing for more than a month, the item is truly lost and consider honoring the buyer's reasonable request for a refund. That never happened.
