About us
Custom printer and whittler. Howard Pix & Stix is the retail side of Howard Photography and Imaging.
Pix - We sell custom High Definition GiClee prints. GiClee is the process of printing high definition ink jet prints on canvas. Primarily, our own images and reproductions of art that no longer has copyright restrictions. We take an image and make it fit the wall it will be displayed on instead of finding a wall to fit the art. Our printer is capable of 1440 dot per inch using an 11 color pallet. If you have images of your own, we will print them to meet your desires, normally shipping within 72 hours of receiving your image.
Stix - I also sell custom, hand carved canes and walking sticks. I started by making a cane for my mother-in-law, ever since people stop and ask her where she got her cane. Seeing a demand I started making canes for others. These canes are make from locally harvested wood (Algonquin, Il), 13 coats of polyurethane, topped with a Hame off a horses collar.
