About us

I have been interested in coin collecting since I was very young. My grandparents owned a small restaurant from about 1963 to 1970, and I can remember helping my granny sort through the change, looking for goodies. I remember when I was about 6 or 7, we found a really nice 1913-S Barber dime and when we looked up it's value, I was amazed and hooked forever. I had that very dime up until Katrina, when it was lost. I started setting up at shows in about 1990 and really enjoyed it for many years. I still attend local shows and shops when I can.

    Congratulations, that's great! You know a good deal when you see it. I am glad your sharp eyes were able to see the gem that was hiding under all the gunk. It looks like a BU now, I don't see any rub on it. I played it safe and called it an AU. I never clean my coins, I sell them just as they are, some have been cleaned before I get them, but some would benefit from a quick dip. I appreciate your purchase and feedback.
