  Item listed at $450 and $80 in shipping. Made an offer; seller countered; I accepted the offer and paid. Then got a message from the seller refusing to ship the item unless I paid at least $238 in shipping. When I refused to pay more for the transaction, seller then cancelled the order "at my request". This feels deceptive to me, and was a distinctly negative experience.

  Unfortunately i underestimated the size of the box needed to ship this. i boxed it and put the dimensions in ebays shipping calculator and the best price available to ship this was $238.00. I am not in the position to take a loss of $158.00. I sent the buyer a message apologizing for this and explaining the problem. This was not deceptive, it was a simple mistake on my part. it also did not help that i am in CT and the buyer is in CA. I do not believe that this warrants negative feedback.
