I was a PA state licensed technician. My 30+ years of automotive experience has taught me some trade 'secrets', and I can assure you that what I have chosen to sell here are hand-picked, quality parts! Recently closed up shop Sept. 2022 so I will be much more involved in just selling parts.... as it turns out I've got a 400+ sq.ft parts room that is so packed after all these years I don't even know what kind of treasures are even back there anymore. I'm surprised at what I'm finding already. G.E.A.R. Automotive stood for Guaranteed Electrical Automotive Repair. Did not handle undercar, and do not ordinarily sell chassis parts and typical 'wear-out' items w/o knowing their story!
Shops don't like to install 'Customer supplied Parts' because much of the time they are 'cheap'... made in China type stuff. Who gets blamed when the part fails in a few months. THE SHOP. No one likes to be told that if they had bought a Genuine or reliable part that it would never have been a problem...
